Volere Volare, è l'ultimo nato delle Agricole Pietraventosa. E' un vino non filtrato, prodotto da uve selezionate dal nobile vitigno Primitivo di Gioia del Colle. Morbido e avvolgente, ma allo stesso tempo fresco e bevibile a tutto pasto.

Pietraventosa - le mille anime del Primitivo di Gioia del Colle, Gioia del Colle, Bari, Apulia, Italy.

The love for our own land of rough hills blown by the winds, the passion for wine, the firm will for unveling the thousand souls of the noble Primitivo vineyard of Gioia del Colle, are the ingredients which give birth to Agricole Pietraventosa.

About 380 mt above the sea level, in the rocky west country of Gioia del Colle, we planted 4.4 hectars of espalier spurred cordon vineyards for a total of 30.000 plants with a 2 x 0,7 mt planting pattern and an average production of 5000 kilos/ha per year.

Not so far, our bush trained vineyard of 40 years old, less than an hectare, but extremely precious with an average production of 2500 kilos/ha per year.

The manual harvest is based upon a slow and careful selection of the grapes from each plant, following the traditional uses and methods of grape harvest.

Our wine products are the result of a balanced fusion between tecnology and tradition: we use up-to-date facilities naturally fused with the firm respect of ancient memories and traditions of wine production so as to ensure our wine its strong and firm aspect which strictly binds it to our land.
