Uve Aglianico allevate a spalliera con cordone speronato su terreno ricco, argilloso e tendenzialmente calcareo con una densità di 4500 piante per ettaro.
VINIFICAZIONE
La vendemmia avviene nella seconda metà di ottobre. La macerazione ha una durata di almeno 10 giorni per ottenere la massima estrazione delle sostanze aromatiche e coloranti. La temperatura di fermentazione non supera mai i 20°C.
MATURAZIONE
La maturazione avviene in botti di rovere di Slavonia da 35 Hl. dove il vino sviluppa le sue caratteristiche. Successivo affinamento in bottiglia per un periodo di 6 mesi.

NOTE DI DEGUSTAZIONE
Colore rosso granato intenso, bouquet complesso con note di frutta rossa matura, palato pieno ed armonico, giustamente tannico, grande struttura con finale asciutto.

Primi piatti con sughi di carne, carni arrosto e formaggi stagionati. Si consiglia di stapparlo almeno 1 ora prima di servirlo, preferibilmente ad una temperatura di 18°C.
