Allevati a spalliera con cordone speronato su terreni ricchi, argillosi e tendenzialmente calcarei con una densità di 4500 piante per ettaro.
VINIFICAZIONE
La vendemmia avviene tra la fine di agosto e le prime due settimane di settembre. La macerazione dura 8-10 giorni con frequenti rimontaggi per l’ossigenazione ed a temperature costanti di fermentazione.
MATURAZIONE
Dopo alcuni mesi in vasche di cemento vetrificato, il vino matura in botti di rovere di Slavonia da 35 Hl. Affinamento in bottiglia per un periodo di 3 mesi prima della commercializzazione.

NOTE DI DEGUSTAZIONE
Colore Rosso violaceo. Bouquet di frutta a bacche nere con note speziate. Morbido, armonico e ben strutturato.
ABBINAMENTI GASTRONOMICI
Vino energico e ben strutturato adatto ad accompagnare pietanze ricche e saporite come carni rosse, selvaggina e formaggi stagionati. Si consiglia di stapparlo almeno 20 minuti prima si servirlo, preferibilmente ad una temperatura di 18°C.

Villa Schinosa extends over 200 hectares at the entrance of Trani. It is a fascinating structure that the visitor can see at the bottom of an oak boulevard.
