VINEYARDS

Planted in espaliers with spurred cordon on clay tending calcareous rich soils, density of 4500 plants per hectare.

WINE MAKING

Harvest takes place between late August and the first two weeks of September. The maceration lasts 8-10 days with frequent pumping over to hepl oxygenation, fermentation temperatures are costants.

AGEING

After a few months in cement vats, the wine is aged in Slavonian oak 35 Hl barrels. Bottle aging lasts till three months before commercialization.

The history of Villa Schinosa is based on ancient wine traditions that have been passed down for generations.
