Intense red wine made from the best Primitivo and Aglianico grapes grown on spurred cordon. A ruby red color and a beautiful purple nail, is able to give off intense aromas of jam and ripe plums, cocoa and liquorice. Its round taste, soft and smooth, with a persistent finish tending to aromatic, is due to 12 months of aging in small French oak barrels.
Suitable for any meal, especially accompanies stews, red meats, roasts and mature cheeses.

The area is the heart of Enotria land, that was defined by ancient Greeks "the land of wine", the home of the newborn DOC Matera, are ain which the clay, harsh but in some cases tenacious and generous, is able to express best features of the typical varieties of the area.

The farm San Vito known as Cantine Cifarelli, with a recent generational change, alongside the modern winemaking techniques to the more than forty years of wine experience, like the tendril of the vine, that after sweet and herbaceous of the bud stage will become tough and woody with time, is born the brand Cantine Cifarelli, synonymous with quality and respect for the noble art of making wine.
